Human-Centered Robotics and Neurotechnology Lab
We build closed-loop human-robot systems: robots that continuously infer the cognitive and affective state of
the people they work with and adapt their decisions in response. By coupling neurotechnology, including
EEG-based brain-computer interfaces, eye tracking, and physiological sensing, with robot decision-making and
learning, we let signals such as attention, workload, perceived safety, and trust directly shape how robots
plan, act, and communicate. Our testbeds span collaborative manipulators, aerial robots, and social robots.
